What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
During approach for a touch and go the landing gear was selected to down. The main gear gave a down indication and the nose gear did not. The pilot performed the emergency procedures in the POH for gear extension but still did not get a gear down light. He radioed the local FBO for a visual that the gear was down. He got confirmation that it was down and decided to land and have maintenance check it out. On landing roll out the nose gear collapsed causing minor damage to the gear doors and propeller.
