From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

After what was reported as a normal landing, during roll-out, the right landing gear collapsed. The pilots stated that the aircraft was only travelling at about 5-10 mph when they felt an oscillation in the landing gear and thought that it might be a flat tire. It was discovered that the right wheel was turned sidways and the forward trunion fitting had been ripped out of the aircraft structure causing the gear to fold aft. Examination of the right landing gear, revealed that the center scissors link bolt was broken near the threaded end.
