From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The PIC stated that on landing rollout, his foot sliped off the right rudder pedal. The aircraft then started to veer left, the PIC tried to gain control. He quickly applied right brake and over corrected the aircraft. The aircraft then departed the runway to the right and went into a shallow ditch. The nose wheel hit soft mud and failed. This caused the aircraft to flip on its back. There was prop damage, even though the PIC shut the engine down. The PIC was not injured only minor scratches and bruises. The PIC also stated that the people that came to help him get out of the aircraft broke the canopy, even though he told them not to. The PIC also stated that the damage caused to the right winglet was most likely caused by the people the came to salvage the aircraft when the used a forklift to right the aircraft. No other visible damage was observed on the aircraft.
