From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On 7/21/17 at approximately 08:45 PIC departed mri (qpoa base) solo as a part-135 flight to pick up 4 passengers at lhd for a charter flight to silver salmon creek. Pre-flight and flight to lhd were uneventful. Approximately 20 minutes after departing lhd, PIC noticed that the intercom audio was scratchy and intermittent. This was followed closely followed by loss of instruments and radios. PIC recycled avionic master and battery master switches, shed non-essential systems power and attempted to operate flaps all with no effect. PIC deduced that a total electrical failure had occurred and decided to return to mri. PIC said that she noticed that the low voltage warning indicator light was not on at any time during this event. During the approach to mri, PIC received green light signals to land from the tower. Landing and taxi to ramp were uneventful. There were no injuries to pilot or passengers and no damage to aircraft.
