From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On 7/26/2017 a Cessna 182, N13433 landed at Oshkosh on runway 18 with two persons on board to attend the annual eaa convention. Upon rollout the pilot exited the runway and taxied into the grass as instructed. Rather than following the grass taxiway back toward the parking area he taxied into a ditch where the aircraft sunk into the soft ground and the propeller struck a small incline on the opposite side of the ditch resulting in damamge to the propeller. Both the pilot and passenger exited the aircraft unharmed.
