From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The aircraft was enroute from sheboygan falls, WI (sbm) with kojc as the destination. The pilot selected full flaps for landing on runway 18 at kojc, which had just received a heavy rain storm. After touch down, the pilot deployed spoilers and applied the brakes as the aircraft began to hydroplane on the wet runway. The aircraft was unable to stop and departed the south end of runway 18 coming to rest in the grass approximately 150 feet off the end of the runway threshold.
