From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The pilot flew to the Cache Creek Gravel Strip which is approximately 25 miles west of Talkeetna, Alaska. The pilot received wind updates while in the pattern from another aircraft that had landed 10 minutes earlier on the Cache Creek Gravel Strip. The winds were gusting about 10 knots from the northeast as a near 90 degree crosswind to the strip, set up for crosswind landing, used three notches of flaps, touched down on main gear, two small bounces, during the rollout the aircraft weathervaned to the left, the aircraft veered onto the softer shoulder causing it to tip onto its left wing tip and left horizontal tail, no prop strike, no injuries to pilot or three passengers, aircraft received substantial damage and was helicoptered off the Cache Creek strip.
