From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Airman reported for duty on October 20,2017 at 1830 Alaska standard time (ast). Airman was on weather hold for most of his shift. After waiting for three hours airman went home to get some rest. Airman was notified at 0113 ast that the weather had improved enough to depart nome. Airman departed nome at 0320 ast with two medics and one patient. Normal flight to Anchorage. Airman was cleared to land at Anchorage international runway 7R. Airman stated he was given a clearance too close to the final approach fix and he flew through it and received a heading from ATC to re-establish on the final approach course for the ILS runway 7R. Airman had selected approach flaps which alleviated the warning horn and gear handle warning light. Airman landed with the gear up. No injuries were sustained.
