From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Student pilot was coming in to land for her second solo landing of the lesson. After landing the plane and touching the wheels to the ground, the plane began to drift to the left. The student pilot attempted to correct for this by putting ailerons into the wind and using brake pressure, but the plane continued drifting to the side. Unfortunately, this did not stop the plane from moving forward and to the left until on the grass. The pilot went onto the grass and came to a complete stop off the side of the runway.
