From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

During flight on November 14th the master caution illuminated and a panel scan revealed a right engine fire light. Power was already fairly low at the time, they were decelerating for approach. PIC reduced power on the right engine to flight idle and after about 15 seconds the fire light was still flashing. At that point the pilot moved the power lever to cut-off. After several seconds the right engine fire light was still illuminated so the pilot fired one of the fire bottles for the right engine; the fire light remained on. The aircraft landed and taxied to parking andthe fire light was still illuminated. The light remained on until the aircraft was completely shut down. There were no signs of a fire.
