From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot was practicing his second crosswind landing of the day on RW10 with winds of 190/10. Touchdown was on centerline prior to 1000? Markers based on tire track and pilot statement. Approximately midway through the 1000? Markers the left main tire begins a mark that tracks to the right, and off the runway to final crash site approximately 330? Feet away, just off the right edge of RW10. Ground scars of the left wheel cover digging into the runway begin just prior to edge of runway and continue into the soft dirt/grass. Approximately 7 prop scars follow, then the indentations where the aircraft flipped over the nose towards the left wing and landed on its back are evident.
