What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
The canadian student pilot on a solo flight landed, over corrected and cross controlled the flight controls, veered off the runway striking a hangar with the right wingtip. The aircraft then turned around 180 degrees and began to enter the hangar, striking the left wing leading edge on the hangar bay dividing wall. Unfortunately the hangar was for a smaller aircraft. Structural damage to the glider was substancial.
