From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilots were flying out to an airport that does not have much reporting on runway conditions. The airport they were going to was Rosebud, SD (suo). They checked NOTAMS before the flight and there was none issued for that airport. The runway had been plowed but the wind had blown snow back on the runway and created a windrow. The pilots were landing on runway 34 at suo and the windrow was on the left side of the runway. Pilots touched down and aircraft left main gear hit hard packed snow and veered to the left. The aircraft went into the grass and after coming to a stop was shut down. Getting out and inspecting the aircraft for damage the pilots noticed the the propeller on the number two engine hit a runway light. The number two propeller was the only damage on the aircraft.
