From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Departed private field and landed at dillingham airfield. Upon landing, he stated that the suspension didn't feel right and the aircraft attempted to ground loop. He exited the aircraft and did another preflight inspection. He stated that everything appeared normal. The aircraft was coming due for an annual so he decided to fly it to John rodgers field (jrf) where his hangar is located. He executed a normal landing and approximately 30 feet after touching down, he experienced a right gear failure and ground looped the aircraft.
