From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Student pilot states he was performing multiple solo touch and goes at dwh airport on runway 17R. During the last touch and go, he thought he had touched down, so he raised the flaps and applied full throttle. Immediately the aircraft dropped and took a hard left turn. Student then applied right rudder with some success but felt applying anymore would cause the aircraft to turn too sharp. He then pulled the throttle and applied both brakes hard, but skid off the runway and hit some airport signs causing minor damage to the propeller and both wheel pants.
