From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Airman was practicing takeoffs and landings on a grass runway in his personally owned tailwheel airplane in which he was the sole occupant. Airman stated that during the incident landing-rollout, he ?tapped the brakes? And the aircraft veered slightly to the right; which resulted in the RH wing striking the ground and the aircraft flipped over the nose. The aircraft came to rest upside down; the pilot forced open the RH door and exited the aircraft. As a result of this accident, the RH wing strut, wing spar, and vertical stabilizer were substantially damaged. The airman reported that there were no injuries.
