From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

While landing at the conclusion of a maintenance test flight for a leaky landing gear pneumatic system, the pilot failed to notice that the nose landing gear was not fully extended in the down and locked position.

After the flare, while lowering the nose, the pilot then noticed the nose gear was not down. The prop struck the ground several times before the pilot initiated the go around.

The pilot was able to get the nose gear down ater the go around and landed with out further incident.
