From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

During the landing rollout on runway 11 the aircraft exited the left side of the runway. It then collided with the airport runway identifier sign located @ the second taxiway. The left hand landing gear collapsed, causing additional aircraft damage to the nose bowl, the propeller, the wing left rear lift strut and the left hand wing. Additionally, the lower fuselage structure between the left hand landing gear attachments was also damaged.

During the accident the winds were gusting and variable and the pilot reported it simply pushed him left during the landing rollout.

As the FAA filed it
