From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The pilot was conducting touch-and-goes when the incident occurred. After being cleared, the tower asked for a short approach and it was accepted by the pilot. The pilot reported the landing was normal and he was planning to do another touch-and-go. Around 40-45 KIAS, the aircraft veered extremely to the left and tried to roll. As a corrective action, the pilot used the ailerons, right rudder and brake. The left gear left the runway surface, with the right gear remaining on the runway. A runway light was damaged during the incident and the aircraft sustained damage to the prop, left leading edge and left flap. The pilot taxied the aircraft to the ramp after the incident.
