From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On April 13, 2018 at approximately 8:00 pm, the pilot stated that after lading on lake dora, the winds were 10 miles per hour out of the southeast with one-foot waves. At approximately 100 feet from the ramp the plane stopped, when nose down, and the tail lifted causing the aircraft to flip and came to rest in an inverted position in the water. A physical inspection of the aircraft revel a dent on the aft section of the left float. On the morning of April 14, 2018, a log approximately 10 feet long with a 15 inch diameter was found partially exposed and floating in the water.
