From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft was on take off roll to the south with a cross wind from the south west. The pilot realized that the runway end was quickly approaching. He attempted to lift off the runway to avoid going off the end when the aircraft rotated to about 10 feet off of the runway and abruptly flipped over on its back to the right and landed upside down in the grass to the right of the runway. The pilot was able to exit the aircraft and had only minor injuries.
