From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The pilot was on a solo training flight and completed a landing on runway 1. After landing the pilot tried to make a left exit towards taxiway A2. Upon turning the aircraft the main rotor system experienced a violent roll to the aircrafts right. The roll exceeded the critical angle and proceeded to roll over striking the runway with the rotor system. The aircraft then spun 180 degrees and lifted off the ground. The aircraft then again made contact with the ground and came to final rest after the rotor system stopped.
