From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot statement:

"On Saturday may 12, 2018 I departed kpjc at about 9:30 am for a local flight. I flew to kbtp and did one landing, then flew to kucp and did two landings returning to kpjc for a landing on 35. I landed and then the aircraft swerved of the runway to the left and I was unable to keep it from departing the runway into the grass between the runway and the taxiway.

After taxiing over to the gas pump area so privacy data omitted could see the plane, I taxied it back to the hanger "[SIC]."
