What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
Pilot was conducting a planned landing in a field about five miles north of Prescott Washington. During taxi and repositioning for takeoff, the pilot reported his wheel sank in the dirt causing prop and wingtips to strike the ground. There was substantial damage to the left wing, and minor damage to the right wing. The pilot admitted to going too fast for the 180-degree turn around and that there were no mechanical issues with the plane.
