From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On 6/12/2018 the aircraft was on approach into lewiston Idaho when the landing gear would not extend. The pilot tried several times to extend the landing gear, to include using the manual emergency procedures but could not get the gear locked in the down position. The pilot decided to conduct an emergency gear up landing. The pilot landed, but the nose gear was still down and locked, the aircraft veered off the left side of runway 30 and came to a rest. Upon inspection of the aircraft, a hydraulic line on the power pack gear system was found ruptured right at the ferrule fitting. The line was on the aux pressure side of the system.
