From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot landed at kjst on runway 33. Upon roll out, pilot applied brake pressure. The right brake locked the wheel and skidded the tire until the tire blew out. During roll out the aircraft veered to the right. The aircraft left the runway at the end of the roll out. The right main landing gear made contact with a runway light that resulted in no damage to the aircraft. The aircraft's nose and right main tires were in the grass while the left main gear tire remained on the runway. No defect in the brake system was found. The pilot admitted to skidding the tire.
