From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot was executing a VFR landing and bounced on the main landing gear. Once airborne again, he attempted a go-around maneuver. Pilot stated the engine would not make full power and it was slowing down. Pilot stated he raised the landing gear to reduce drag, but the plane continued to slow. He raised the flaps from full to approach, but it continued to slow. So he raised the flaps completely, and the airplane stalled onto the runway.

The airplane slid to a stop on its belly after going thru the departure end runway lights. A small grass fire started which the local fire department extinguished.

As the FAA filed it
