From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

While landing at the Nacogdoches at approximately 4:30 pm on runway 36 in light wind and clear skies, at an elevation of around 50 feet, privacy data omitted recognized that he had not lowered the landing gear. His reaction was to activate the landing gear, rather than taking the correct action of pushing the throttle forward for a go around. Upon landing, the partially extended main landing gear collapsed, scuffing the bottom of the plane and allowing the rear prop to strike the runway. The front landing gear held so there was no damage to the cabin, or front part of the aircraft. Their were no injuries.

As the FAA filed it

WHILE LANDING AT THE NACOGDOCHES AT APPROXIMATELY 4:30 PM ON RUNWAY 36 IN LIGHT WIND AND CLEAR SKIES, AT AN ELEVATION OF AROUND 50 FEET, ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ RECOGNIZED THAT HE HAD NOT LOWERED THE LANDING GEAR.
