From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Based on the pilot?s statement, he had just landed on runway 14L at Boeing field; just after touchdown the control tower issued turnoff and taxi instructions. He followed the tower?s instructions, but was moving too fast to safety exit the runway at the designated turnoff. Because he was moving too fast he applied his brakes too aggressively. The aircraft nosed over and the propeller struck the runway. The engine continued to rotate a few times, damaging both propeller blades and causing the engine to stop.
