From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot statement: giving instruction in Cessna 172RGAT kgue on 7/19/2018. Training flight started at kdvt with commercial maneuvers just north of dvt airport. Transition down to kgey for touch and goes. Made multiple landings decided to keep landing gear down per Cessna POH to not overheat gear motor. Got in the mind set that the gear was down. We did a stop and go short field with 50 foot obstacle and retracted the gear. On the last approach we did a power off 180 degree was giving dual instruction and forgot to lower the landing gear.
