What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
Pilot was flying the aircraft from brunswick Maine to el cohon California. During the first approach at Galion Municipal Airport the aircraft was high and fast. The pilot elected to execute a go- around. During the second approach to landing the aircraft touched down hard and bounced. The aircraft touched down again beginning a porpoise. The pilot attempted to add power to go around. However, when the aircraft became airborne it stalled. With the addition of full power and low airspeed the aircraft yawed to the left, correction with right rudder was inadequate and the aircraft left the runway surface. The aircraft went a short distance before flipping over and it came to rest. Damage included the nosewheel, propeller, propeller spinner and vertical tail. The pilot had very minor injuries that did not require any medical attention at the time of this accident.
