From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot cancelled IFR 10 miles from the airport at night and "stated good visibility, clear sky and wind calm. Set up approach at 95 KTS, suddenly airspeed dropped to 80, when I realized it I added pwr with no effect, I tried to flare but yoke was full aft, we hit runway with gear down at a pretty steep decent rate and lost control exiting runway in the grass to the left nose gear colapsed striking propeller. Aircraft came to a stop. No injuries.
