From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

While landing on runway 18, the pilot lost directional control of the aircraft and departed the paved surface of the runway. The aircraft subsequently entered the grassy area on the east side of the runway, flipped over and came to rest inverted in a ditch. The pilot reported that the touchdown and initial portion of the rollout were normal, but that as the aircraft slowed down the aircraft began to veer to the left. The pilot attempted to use right rudder correction, but it was not effective. The pilot then added power and attempted a go-around, but was not able to attain sufficient speed prior to the aircraft nose and main wheels impacting the ditch.

As the FAA filed it
