From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On October 18, 2018, at approximately 1600 local, a cubcrafters experimental amatuer built aircraft N468LM, attempted to land on runway 33 at Lumpkin County-Wimpys Airport (9A0), Dahlonega, GA. The approach was stabalized and the pilot stated he bounced the aircraft on the runway, veering to the right. He attempted to go around and applied full power but did not retract the flaps from the landing position. The aircraft did not climb sufficiently to avoid a barbed wire fence and a grove of small trees which he flew through. The aircraft landed in a pasture and came to a stop on it's landing gear.
