From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On 20 October 2018, N451PA was operating as PAC243 a flight between anc and cvg. There were three (3) crewmembers on board and two (2) deadheading crewmembers. There were no reported injuries to any of the crewmembers.

The flight executed a go-around on the first landing attempt. The aircraft landed on the second attempt but the pilot was unable to maintain directional control, resulting in the aircraft coming to rest off the paved surface of runway 27. After landing, maintenance did an evaluation, the aircraft was towed back to the ramp.

Several tires were replaced on the aircraft and inspections done on the landing gear, brake assemblies and the #3 engine after FOD was discovered in the inlet.

The root cause was the inadvertent thrust application on engines 1, 2, and 3 below vmcg. The cmt is willing to accept the corrective action as proposed by the erc after asap acceptance.

As the FAA filed it
