From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

During an initial landing at P&R Airpark (ID26) the pilot noticed the aircraft felt "squirrely" . The pilot elected to perform a go around. When attempting to land again and after toughdown, the aircraft shuddered and then veered to the right side of the runway and into the gravel 3/4 of the way down the runway. The pilot exited the aircraft and found the RH wheel assembly, axle and part of the lower strut missing. A search found them located on the opposite side of the runway. Further damage was noted on the RH flap, and lower LH wing skin.
