From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The PIC departed Modisett field, Rushville, Nebraska, (K9V5) on a local VFR flight. While on a pleasure flight south of Rushville, 54 minutes into the flight, the aircraft experienced a partial loss of power. The pilot stated that he was operating at an altitude of approximately 500 feet AGL at low power setting (approx.1900 RPM).the PIC applied carburetor heat and checked the mixture with no change in rpms. The aircraft could not maintain altitude. The pilot made a forced landing in a pasture. Upon landing, the aircraft right main landing gear struck a berm in the field, causing the right main gear to fold inboard and the right wing to strike the ground. The aircraft turned to the left before coming to rest. The PIC was not injured during the off field landing and no property was damaged. The aircraft sustained substantial damage.
