From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On landing in Grand Junction (gjt) an amateur built carbon cub crafters CCK-1865 left the runway just before touchdown. The aircraft crossed the infield and ended up on it's nose on the taxi way 100 yards away. The pilot uninjured stated he thought he had enough distance behind a C-130 that had been doing touch and goes all morning. According to the ATC tape the pilot had a difficult time communicating with the tower, other traffic had to be re-routed to accommodate the disrupted traffic flow.
