From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The pilot submitted the following statement: on 6/22/19 we departed with 2 crew and 3 passengers for Montauk Airport from teterboro at roughly 9:00PM arriving at Montauk roughly 50 minutes later. I overflew the field once at approximately 300 feet then made a landing approach for runway 6. On rollout, shortly after full wheel contact we suffered a deer strike. The deer was running right to left, which we saw in the landing light .5 seconds before impact. After impact, I shut the engine down on rollout and came to a stop roughly 600 feet from the end of the runway.
