From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Around noon on Friday, July 19th, 2019 on runway 22 at 0B7. Winds were light with a slight left crosswind, estimated out of 250 degrees at 5-7. The Cessna touched down on the mains and began skipping and hopping back and forth between left and right mains with small puffs of smoke from the tires. As he was almost stopped (the tail wheel was still quite high) the tail of the aircraft just began raising up higher and higher inevitably striking the prop and coming to a stop on the paved runway. It happened so slowly that the aircraft really didn?t slide forward at all after it came to rest on the nose.
