From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot was on approach to landing at gso. He selected the gear down and went through is flow twice to ensure the gear lever was in the down position. He was then distracted in looking for the traffic he was instructed to follow in by ATC. He did not confirm the gear down lights. Upon touch down, the pilot realized there was an issue but thought the brakes were frozen. He then realized it was the floats skidding on the ground. He determined that he was decelerating to rapidly to execute a go around.
