From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

An aircraft (N572JA) reported FOD on runway 33. Airport maintenance checked the runway and advised there was glass on the runway and that 2 threshold lights were down. Airport swept the glass off the runway. Runway 33 was closed and traffic was moved to runway 27, no other effect on air traffic. Aircraft was observed on the ramp with damage to rear wheel pants. Airport interviewed the pilot who admitted to hitting the light and that the only damage to his plane was the wheel pants.
