From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

PIC privacy data omitted and SIC privacy data omitted were returning on an IFR flight plan part 91 from rogers, AR.

Prior to landing at sdl the before landing checlist was performed after gear extension. This was done in a command / response manner. The landing was normal until the moment the nose tire contacted the runway.

The airplane began veering hard to the right. The PIC was making every effort to return to the centerline of the runway with rudder input but the aircraft continued to the right. When the aircraft began to exit the runway the SIC shouted ?steering!? At the same time checking to see whether the left rudder was full left, it was.

The aircraft departed the runway across a section of gravel. The aircraft stuck a taxiway sign & a light. Both engines invested gravel and both wing's & landing gear sustained damage. The damage to the right wing caused fuel to leak from the fuel cell.

The SIC regaining aircraft control and stopped the aircraft.

Both exited the aircraft normally uninjured.

As the FAA filed it

PIC ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ AND SIC ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WERE RETURNING ON AN IFR FLIGHT PLAN PART 91 FROM ROGERS, AR.
