From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Student pilot was conducting solo cross country training flight. On final approach to runway 27R at Sanford airport Florida (sfb) student pilot overcompensated for wind conditions. At a low altitude, the aircraft rolled and the propeller and right wing struck the runway. The aircraft then veered off to the right side of the runway and came to a stop in the grass.

Inspection revealed damage to the propeller caused by contact with the runway, and engine damage consistent with propeller damage. No reported damage to the right wing.
