From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

With light winds from the southeast, the pilot departed from his 700 foot east/west driveway to the northeast and landed at a nearby grass runway. He picked up a passenger and returned to his driveway for his daughter to take pictures as they flew by. As he approached his driveway from the east, at an altitude he thought was above the power lines, he applied power to gain altitude and hooked the power line with the left rear tire which brought them right to the ground..
