From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft landed long runway 28. After touch down the pilot realized that the aircraft was not stopping quick enough and applied additional brake pedal pressure. The aircraft started skid to the right leaving the runway surface through the grass on taxiway alpha at departure end of runway 28. The right main gear and nose gear collapsed after leaving the runway surface resulting in propeller strike and sudden engine stoppage. The aircraft cam e to rest with the left main gear extended while the right main and nose were not. Aircraft suffered minor damage to right wing skin and lower fuselage. Aircraft was hosted up and gear extended with the application of battery power and aircraft was towed to ramp area.
