What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
Pilot landed at private airstrip she was unfamiliar with. Upon landing the pilot was unable to stop the aircraft in time and the aircraft rolled into a fence at the end of the grass runway, causing substantial damage. Pilot stated that she had arrived a little faster than normal. Upon landing she felt poor braking action on the grass but determined by that point it was safer to stay on the ground and run off the end versus try a riskier aborted landing.
