From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

At approximately 1353 local time on August 7, 2020, N3737R, an aerosport CC-340, sustained substantial damage during a landing on runway 11 at Veterans airport of Southern Illinois (mwa) in Marion, IL. Within a few seconds of touching down, the aircraft encountered a wind shift which led to a "ground loop" with the aircraft rotating to the left. During the "ground loop" the right main gear experienced significant side loading causing it to collapse. As a result of the right main gear collapse, the right wing impacted the runway and sustained substantial damage.
