From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On October 30, 2020, pilot left kpwa enroute to khsd. During the descent at about 2300 ft MSL and about 2 miles southwest of khsd, pilot noticed a quick flash of a bird just outside the windscreen on the right. About the same time was a loud thud from the bird hitting the wing. Pilot visually checked the wing and saw what looked to be a dent. He then called on the CTAF frequency informing any traffic nearby that he had just had a bird strike and would be coming in for a landing. During the approach to land, the planes flight characteristics were all normal. The landing went smoothly and once taxied back to the hangar, pilot exited the aircraft and inspected the damage. Damage was observed on the right wing leading edge.
