From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On November 08, 2020, N77759, a Temco swift GC-1B, was departing runway 23 at Waukegan National Airport (kugn) enroute to ann arbor, Michigan. During the take off roll at approximately 800 feet, the pilot in command (PIC) noticed the tail wheel of the conventional geared aircraft prematurely lift from the runway creating a left turning tendency and the aircraft also began to weather vane into the southerly wind. The aircraft veered to the left and departed the runway into the grass before experiencing a ground loop. The aircraft came to rest 200 feet from the edge of the runway, with a collapsed right main gear. Both the pilot and passenger were unharmed. No damage to the airport property and structures were noted.

Photographs taken at scene indicate significant structural damage of right hand wing. Right hand wing center section skin buckled at landing gear box structure. Upper wing wrinkling extends through the outer wing.
